NFL Fanduel Week 1 Players To Start

Back at it for another season we bring to you our weekly NFL Fanduel Players to Start. Each week we will give you a stud and a bargain at each position to help you win your weekly match-up with your buddies.

QB - Tom Brady - NE - $8,800
Expensive, but worth every penny. Brady traditionally torches the Buffalo secondary and this season should be no exception. He is also trying to build some chemistry with an entirely new receiving core. Expect him to pass the ball around and find the endzone early and often in this one. 300/3/0 should make him one of the top options this week.
QB - Carson Palmer - ARI - $6,300
Palmer is fighting for his NFL career at this point after two failed season's in Oakland. He heads to Arizona and a team with a lot of offensive weapons that really has been a QB away from being relevant. This is his chance to re-emerge as what was once a top-5 fantasy QB. He has a favorable week 1 match-up against St. Louis

RB - Jamaal Charles - KC - $8,800
Another high priced option but one you can't pass up this week. KC is going up against just a brutal Jacksonville team. The addition of Andy Reid at the helm can only be good things for anyone at the RB position on his team. He has always groomed studs - Westbrook, McCoy, even Brown last season when Mccoy went down. Charles might be even more talented than those just named. The sky is the limit for him in 2013 and it starts week 1.
RB - Isaac Redman - PIT - $4,600
With rookie Le'Veon Bell injured and Jonnathan Dwyer released Redman is the lone ranger in the Pittsburgh backfield in week one. He is going up against a Tennessee defense that gave up 2494 yards and 16 touchdowns to running backs last season. He is an absolute steal for the price and could be a great candidate for 80/1 for pennies compared to the big name backs.

WR - Julio Jones - ATL - $8,000
Jones and the dirty birds open up against the high flying New Orleans Saints in what is sure to be a very high scoring affair. Jones is the vocal point in the offense and the primary big play target for Matt Ryan. Fortunately, he has Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez to share some of the attention and avoid triple-teams. In single and double coverage, particularly against a porous Saints secondary Jones has the speed and go up and get it ability to have a monster game this week. 120/1
WR - DeSaun Jackson - PHI - $5,700
The arrival of Chip Kelly in Philly means the potential for monster fantasy numbers for Eagles offensive players. His run and gun style of offensive fits perfectly for the personnel he has (notably Vick, Jackson, McCoy). Jackson could be in on just about any sort of offensive play and if the pre-season was any indication, he has re-gained some of his 2011 pre-injury playmaking speed. At just $5,700 is a true bargain.

TE - Jason Witten - DAL - $6,800
The Cowboys are notoriously hot starters in September with Tony Romo as their QB. They are going up against a Giants defense that is a little banged up to start the season with JPP and Antrel Rolle both games time decisions. That should make for some great options in Witten, Dez Bryant and even Miles Austin. If you are looking for a stud TE and have some money to spend Witten is your man this week. 80/1
TE - Zack Sudfield - NE - $4,500
Without Rob Gronkowski or Aaron Hernandez at the tight end position to start the season Tom Brady will be looking to establish a connection with a new offensive weapon. If the pre-season is any indication, that guy very well could be rookie TE Zack Sudfield. The undrafted rookie got 1st team reps in 3 of the 4 pre-season games a really looked like Brady's comfort go-to guy in short yardage passing plays. Going up against a Buffalo team that New England has traditionally torched in the past should do nothing but rack up point for Partiots receivers.

K- Steven Hauschka - SEA - $5,000
Really good match-up for a team that is going to put up some points this week. Hauschka and the Seahawks go up against a Carolina team that gave up the 3rd most FG's in the league in 2012. Looks like a solid start at the minimum this week.

DEF - Tampa Bay - $5,100
"When in doubt start the team playing the Jets" -- Those of you who followed that strategy with us last season came out on top more often than not. Yes, turnover machine Mark Sanchez is injured and out of the line-up, but they still have very little offensive talent and a rookie who is going to be hit early and often by a tough Tampa D. Did we mention that it's Darrell Revis' first trip back to NY to play against his former team? There is at least one INT right there. Start with confidence.
